What you can post on Hommigo, what is not allowed, and how we handle content that breaks the rules.
This policy explains what kind of content is welcome on Hommigo, and what is not.
01 What this policy covers
This policy explains what kind of content you can post on Hommigo, such as listings, photos, documents, reviews and messages, and what happens when content breaks the rules. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions and Intellectual Property Policy.
02 Content you can post
Property listings and their photos, floor plans and documents, reviews and ratings, messages to other users, and profile information are all content types you can add to Hommigo. You keep ownership of what you upload, as explained in our Intellectual Property Policy.
03 Content that is not allowed
- Fake, duplicate or intentionally misleading listings, photos or documents
- Harassment, threats, hate speech or discriminatory content aimed at another user
- Spam, unsolicited advertising, or content unrelated to property, society or service transactions
- Impersonating another person, business or the Hommigo team
- Content that infringes someone else's intellectual property, or that is illegal under Indian law
04 Reviews and ratings
Reviews should reflect a genuine experience with a property, owner, broker, service provider or society. Do not post a review for a transaction that did not happen, or on behalf of someone else.
05 Messages and chat
Keep conversations on Hommigo respectful and related to the property, booking or service in question. Do not use chat to harass another user, or to repeatedly push a transaction outside the app once a genuine concern has been raised about doing so.
06 How we handle content that breaks the rules
We may remove content, restrict a listing, or suspend an account depending on how serious the issue is. Where reasonably possible, we try to let you know when we take action on your content.
07 Reporting content
If you see a listing, review or message that breaks these rules, please report it. Use Report a Property for a listing, or Report an Issue for anything else.
08 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Hommigo adds new ways to post or share content. We will post the updated policy here with a new "last updated" date.
